Peer Support Team
It is the mission of the IAFF Local 1619 Peer Support Team to provide assistance to members and their families during times of crisis through active listening and facilitating access to behavioral health resources. We seek to fulfill this mission through outreach to members so they may obtain resiliency for a healthy mental fitness lifestyle.
The Local 1619 Peer Support Team maintains a referral list of licensed clinicians that are vetted to best serve our members. While clinicians are not directly affiliated with Local 1619, through our vetting process, we believe they are the best people to serve our members.
In addition to providing these vital resources to our membership, the Peer Support Team has been mobilized on multiple occasions to assist other locals in times of need. It is this sense of service towards the fire service family that is critical to the mental health and well being of our first responders.
If you are in need of assistance please contact the Peer Support team, day or night
We are always there!
